INDIAN ORDNANCE FACTORIES RECRUITMENT 2012 FOR SEMI-SKILLED POSITION






The first time that the Army Ordnance saw a beginning sign in India was in the year 1775. This is the year when the British authorities had accepted the proposal for the establishment of the Board for Ordnance in the state of Kolkata. The total number of factories that have been established ever since its inception is 40, with the 40th one under establishment in the state of Bihar.
   

Indian Ordnance Factories Recruitment 2012 

 The Indian Ordnance Factory Board, which is administered by the ministry of defense of the government of India, has notified about the selection process that it will conduct for the apprenticeship programmes for the suitable candidates. IOF board has invited applications from the candidates who are eligible and interested in going through the apprenticeship in the organization. The names of the available positions are:
  • ITI apprentices
  • Non-ITI apprentices
The training period for the candidates would be as per the policies of the organization and the instructions of the concerned authorities. The government and the recruitment board authorities will have complete discretion in the decision of offering an employment offer to the candidates subsequent to their training period.

The selected candidates will be receiving a fixed monthly stipend, which would be as follows:
1st year – Rs. 1490
2nd year – Rs. 1700
3rd year – Rs. 1970
4th year – Rs. 2220

Eligibility Criteria

The lower and upper age limits that have been fixed for the available vacancies are 14 years and 22 years respectively. The upper limit of age has been relaxed for the reservation category candidates as per the instructions of the government.

The Non-ITI candidates need to be minimum 10th pass and the ITI candidates need to pass the relevant trade tests.
 

Selection & Application Procedure:

The shortlisted candidates will be selected on the basis of the following two steps:
  • Written Test
  • Medical Test

Eligibility Criteria: Candidates age should be between 18 years to 32 years under general category candidates. In case belongs to reserved category relaxation available under instruction received from central government of India.


Fee: Rs. 50 (fifty) through crossed Indian Postal Order or Bank Draft in favor of Senior General Manager, Ordnance Factory Ambarnath, Thane. Candidates who are from SC/ST/EXs/PWD category not need to pay any fee, they are relaxed in application fee procedure.

Mode of Selection: Candidates will be select according to the merit basis only. A written test will be conducted for 100 marks. The RRB (Railway Recruitment Board) has been entrusted with the responsibility of conducting the recruitment process for the various vacancies in the Indian Railways. All the staff that is in the railways is divided into gazetted and non gazetted employees. The gazetted staff come under the Groups A and B, whereas, the non gazetted staff comes under the Groups C and D. The recruitment of the Group - A vacancies are done through the medium of Union Public Service Commission (UPSC). The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) is responsible for the recruitment of efficient and suitable personnel for the vacancies related to the posts of Group – C and Group – D. This recruitment is done through the 20 RRBs which are spread throughout the country in various locations. RRB has notified about the recruitments for various types of paramedical vacancies at different locations.
   
RRB Recruitment 2013 details
RRB has issued notifications about the recruitment process that it is going to conduct for the selection of suitable candidates for various vacancies associated with the different posts at varied levels. 

RRB has invited applications from the candidates who are completely eligible and are highly interested in applying for the positions that have arisen in the Indian Railways. The notified vacancies are for the various paramedical posts in various departments of the Indian Railways and there are 20 different paramedical posts for which the recruitment process is being held.
   
The total number of vacancies which are encompassed by these 20 paramedical posts is 825. The division of vacancies and the various pay scales on the basis of the various posts available in advertisement.

RRB Recruitment 2013 Eligibility Criteria
There are various age limits that are related to the varous posts that have been advertised by the RRB. The minimum age limit and the maximum age limit for all the vacancies on a combined basis is 18 years and 35 years respectively. Upper age limit relaxations for the vacancies have been provided to reservation category candidates as per the instructions of the government.
  
The candidates should be 12th pass and should have diploma or degree or post graduation degree in the relevant field for which they want to apply.
     
Selection Procedure and Application Submission Procedure
The initially shortlisted candidates will be going through a written test. The qualifying candidates will have to appear for an interview and document verification process for final selection decision.
