The Himachal Pradesh Public Service
Commission (HPPSC) was established in the year 1971 after the government
realized the importance of a state public service commission for the efficient
functioning of the activities to be taken out under the state of Himachal
Pradesh. The building of the commission is located at Nigam Vihar on Cart Road
(Shimla). The HPPSC is conducting a recruitment process for filling up the vacancies
under the commission.

Himachal Pradesh Public Service
Commission (HPPSC) has issued recruitment notification for the new recruitment
drive that it is going to conduct for the recruitment of candidates for the
Naib Tehsildar post in the state of Himachal Pradesh.
Name of the post: Naib Tehsildar
Nos.: 9 (nine)
The reservation of vacancies would be as per the instructions of the government. 08 posts are unreserved and only one is reserved for SC(HP).
The candidates having knowledge of local traditions and mannerisms will be preferred for the vacancies. The post of Naib Tehsildar, for which the recruitments are being done, belongs to the group – 2 category of vacancies of the commission.

Criteria
The lower and upper age limit for
the vacancies is 21 years and 45 years respectively and upper age limit
relaxations are applicable as per government directives.
The educational qualification required for eligibility is a graduation degree or equivalent from any recognized university/college.

Selection
Procedure & Pay Scale
For the purpose of making the final
selection decision, the eligible candidates are required to go through the
following steps of the recruitment process:
- Screening Test
- Written Test
- Interview Round
The selected candidates would be
getting salary according to the pay scale of Rs. 10300 – 34800 + Rs. 4200 grade
pay on a monthly basis along with the other permissible allowances as allowed
by the government for the specified vacancies.

form in the prescribed format through the website of HPPSC
(http://www.hp.gov.in/hppsc). After completing online registration
candidates need to download and take print of online recruitment application
form (system generated) it will be required on the day of screening test.
