Initially, Mangalore Refinery and
Petrochemicals Ltd.(MRPL) was established as the result of a joint venture
between 2 giants – HPCL (Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited) and the AV
Birla Group. The year of its inception was 1988. It has been able to establish
itself as an organization which provides solutions for refinery operations at
Mangalore. The refinery of the organization is well known for the high quality
and latest technology that it implements and makes use of for the operational
projects that it undertakes.
MRPL Recruitment 2012
MRPL, which is a very famous
subsidiary of the Oil and Natural Gas Corporation Ltd. (ONGC), has issue
notifications about various vacancies for which the recruitment process is
going to be conducted. Company has invited applications from suitable
candidates who fulfill the criteria set by the organization and are interested
in appearing for the process for various posts that are notified by the
organization. The total number of vacancies that have been notified by the
organization is 4, which are divided into the various posts in MRPL. The
details of these posts are as follows:
1.
Chief
Manager (Shipping) E-6 Grade:
There is 1 vacancy that has been notified by the organization. The location of
the posting would be New Delhi. The pay scale that has been set for this grade
is Rs. 51300 – 73000 per month.
2.
Manager
(Shipping) E – 4 Grade: The
number of vacancy for this post is 1. Selected candidate would be posted in the
region of New Delhi. The scale of pay that has been defined for this particular
post and grade is Rs. 36600 – 62000 per month.
3.
Manager
(Law) E – 4 Grade: The total number of vacancies
intimated for this post is 2. The candidates may either be posted to New Delhi
or they may be posted to Mangalore. The pay scale that the candidates would be
receiving is Rs. 36600 – 62000 per month.
Out of the 3 manager vacancies
available, 2 vacancies have been fixed for the candidates who belong to the OBC
category.
MRPL Recruitment 2012 (Eligibility Criteria)
The educational qualifications that
are required to be held by the candidates for the various positions as
advertised by MRPL are B.E/ MBA/ P.G/ B.A/ LLB in relevant disciplines and the
candidates will have to make sure about the relevancy of the degree with
respect to the available posts.
The maximum age limit that has been
set for the Chief Manager post is 44 years and that for Manager posts is 38
years. Upper age limit relaxations have been provided to the candidates who
belong to the reservation categories as per the instructions of the government.
The candidates applying for the post
of Chief Manager should have a minimum experience of 16 years in relevant field
and the candidates applying for the post of Managers should have minimum of 10
years experience in the relevant fields.

fulfill the criteria will not be acceptable to the recruiting authorities.
