Corporation Limited or BMRC is joint venture between Indian Government and
Karnataka’s Government. It is one Vehicle for special purpose under
responsibility of Bangalore Metro Rail Project’s implementation. Bangalore
Metro, which is christened as Namma Metro is balanced by not only for adding
beauty to skyline of Bangalore but it also add immense facility of travelling
to best comfort level. Other than this, it will also one major addition to
environment friendliness of city with significantly contributing towards
reduction in carbon emissions. This project has one East-West corridor, which
is 18.10 kms long. It starts from Baiyappanahalli, which is in East and
terminates in West’s Mysore road terminal. Its North-South corridor is 24.20
kms long. Design of Bangalore Metro has a capacity for 40000 PHPDT or Peak Hour
Peak Direction Trips. There is an expectation that in 2013, 12 lakhs of
passengers will travel on metro everyday and by 2021 their number will reach 19

Corporation or BMRC Recruitment 2013 is going to invite applications from
ex-servicemen only for posts of Section Engineer or SE, Junior Engineer or JE,
Maintainer, Customer Relation Manager, Station Controller & Train Operator.
There are total 33 posts invited by BMRC. These are
Section Engineer (Signalling/Telecommunication/Automatic Fare Collection), Section Engineer (Electric Traction / Electrical Maintenance / Lift & Escalator) , Section Engineer (Rolling Stock Maintenance), Junior Engineer (Signalling/Telecommunication/Automatic Fare Collection), Junior Engineer (Rolling
Stock Maintenance), Maintainers (Signalling & Telecommunication/Automatic Fare Collection), Maintainers (Rolling Stock), Maintainers (Civil Structure Works), Track Maintainers (Permenant Way), Customer Relation Manager (Operations), Station Controller (Operations), Train Operator (Operations).

WHO IS ELGIBLE?
Age Limit: Maximum age
must not exceed 50 years as on 01-07-2012 for posts mentioned above.
Relaxations in age according to reservation will be given to candidates
applying for these posts.
Educational qualification: Candidates to become eligible for BMRC Recruitment 2013 must have a minimum score of 50% marks in essential education. This 50% should come by computing average marks of examinations in your entire course, such as degree, diploma or ITI as case can be, that is, total marks you obtain in examinations upon maximum marks in all examinations. As in other case if you have grades in place of marks, then you should take from a range where Grade covers middle figure in all subjects. Means take middle grade you find in all subjects and then compute total percentage. Your degree should come from any recognized University/ board/ institution.

SELECTION PROCESS
You for BMRC Recruitment
2013 should be fluent in Kannada language in all these four attributes, such as
reading, speaking, understanding and writing. It is compulsory too. However for
Ex-servicemen who don’t possess knowledge of this language must learn in all
its attributes within a year’s time from joining date of BMRCL. BMRCL will take
Kannada classes for you. It is a requirement to pass this language Examination
as specified by BMRCL producing certificate towards BMRCL. If you do not
successfully pass this condition then BMRCL will discharge you and you or any
candidate should not have qualms for this discharge. You shall furnish one
undertaking agreeing towards this condition when you join BMRCL.
